Contemporary Caribbean was commissioned to design a modern vacation villa nuanced with Caribbean charm as a prototype for a series of villas. The residential development is a combination of functionality with aesthetic appeal, ensuring the spaces reflect innovation, and and that carefree Caribbean characteristic to ensure that gusts get that feeling of enchantment.
The exterior of the building features a combination of wood and concrete structure, blending natural warmth with contemporary modern design. This mix of materials establishes a strong visual identity, positioning the villas as a reflection of the past into the future. A transitional style. Small landscaped bushes and greenery accents soften the structural lines, adding a touch of organic elegance while enhancing curb appeal.
Inside, the design focuses on an open, airy layout with natural light playing a key role. Expansive windows invite daylight into the space, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.
Sustainability is at the core of Contemporary Caribbean architectural designs, to this end the design incorporates passive design strategies to mitigate microclimatic impact - large terraces and deep overhangs sheild the expanse of glass from direct solar radiation. The entire energy needs of the villa is accommodated through the use of solar technology and a water generation system ensures that the occupants are always assured of a drinking water supply.
This project is a testament to Contemporary Caribbean’s expertise in multi-family residential architecture, blending aesthetic excellence, functionality, and ease of living.
