Bellvue Vacation Villa, was designed to accomodate vacationrentals or longterm single tenants. The modern lines offer an unparalleled blend of luxury, comfort, and convience. The villa features well appointed livingroom and dining room with a pool and deck area on the lower level. The upper level features a large bedroom with walk-in closet, a deck area and a bathroom that takes maximum advantage of the views.
Contemporary Caribbean chose this architectural style because the modern design easily facilitates achieving expansive views and the creation of deep eaves that provide shade and protection from the climatic conditions on an island. In addition this type of architecture allow for easy construction and the modular shape lends to duplication which adds commodity to this type of development endeavor.
Sustainability is at the core of Contemporary Caribbean architectural designs, to this end the design incorporates passive design strategies to mitigate microclimatic impact - large terraces and deep overhangs sheild the expanse of glass from direct solar radiation. The entire energy needs of the villa is accommodated through the use of solar technology and a water generation system ensures that the occupants are always assured of a drinking water supply.
Bellvue Vacation Villa stands as a testament to Contemporary Caribbean’s continued commitment to the promotion of human centered design. It showcases their expertise in crafting architectural designs that embrace both sophistication and tranquility. This villa has been used as one of Contemporary Caribbean's (CC's) Case Studies that illustrates variations in Design Styles. The Case Study shows that the floorplan is the key. The floorplan can then be clad with any style of articulation, depending on the aesthetic desire. This is the reason that Contemporary Caribbean spend a largepart of the development time on the Conceptual Model. The floorplan is everything and you often can not go back to change it.
This house and villa complex featured above has the same floorplan as the images below but the exterior below is articulated in a more traditional Caribbean architectural style.
