Geo-Design Considerations

This post is of a Case Study that was conducted at the university of Witwatersrand in South Africa. It address the uncertainty of the future as it relates to climatic, economic and social changes (particularly population growth), and how to create architectural typologies with soft edges that will be flexible enough for change as required. The research looked at potential sites for schools, the growing population, the technology and materials available and the professional services that would have to feed into the system in a responsive manner.
